I made this book because I'd spent a lot of time reading about goal-setting (the research, the frameworks, the psychology behind why some goals stick and others don't) and I wanted somewhere to put all of it into practice. Something I could write in, and come back to. So I created it myself, and then thought other people could find use in this too.

If you've ever written a goal on a sticky note and lost it, set a New Year's resolution that was forgotten by February, or felt a gap between knowing what you want and actually making it happen then this book could help to close that gap. You don't need to be the kind of person who has their whole life planned out. You just need to be ready to get a little more intentional about one thing at a time.

A little note from me: The research on goal-setting is genuinely fascinating. And there is evidence that writing goals down with pen and paper, breaking them into steps, and reviewing them regularly makes a real and measurable difference to whether you actually achieve them. I wanted this book to be a distillation of all of that, in a format you'd actually want to use. I hope it earns a permanent place in your planning routine.
